90s Dance Music

The 90s marks my first exposure to the club life style. I was about 18 and I reluctantly decided to accompany some friends to one of about two clubs in 90s Sacramento. It was called the El Dorado club. It was a writhing, thumping orgy of young thirsty lust pumping in and out to the rhythm of 90s dance music. House and techno uncut like raw cocaine in
our virgin veins.

Ace of Base

They used to play almost every song on this album in some clubs in the 90s.

Haddaway - What is Love

The Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe

Reel 2 Real - I Like to Move It

Technotronic - Pump up the Jam

*this actually came out in '89 but it was very popular in America in the early 90s dance club scene.

C & C Music Factory - Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)

*Vocals were actually done by Martha Wash

Another Night - Real McCoy

*Run Away was another big house song by Real McCoy

Crystal Waters - 100% Pure Love

This one was always one of my favorites. The woman can sing.

LaBouche - Be My Lover

This song is still played out...

Black Box - Everybody Everybody

"Strike it Up" was another big one from Black Box

Prodigy - FireStarter

As Morenand on YouTube puts it: "I love these psycho bitches!!!!"

I listen to these guys and can not believe they came out in the 90's. They are WAY ahead of their time.

Cece Peniston - Finally

She is one fine lookin' woman.
